the plans

The proposed site

Transport for London (TFL) are investigating moving Victoria Coach station, used by 14 million people annually, to Royal Oak due to leases expiring and the site being earmarked for Crossrail 2.

This is despite Royal Oak and the surrounding area being highly residential, home to numerous primary schools, churches and community centers.  15,000 school children attend schools in the immediate vicinity.

The proposed site is next to Marylebone Road which is already one of the most polluted roads in London.

No to pollution, no to traffic, no to Royal chOak!

Continue to support our local campaign against these plans that will:

  • Close the Bayswater access to the A40 at Ranelagh Bridge
  • Redirect coaches throughout Paddington and Bayswater, 24 hrs a day
  • Clog up our residential streets with pick up and drop off cars, taxis, delivery trucks and service vehicles
  • Overshadow our homes with a luxury tower block
  • Hurt our high streets with a new shopping centre
  • Pollute our streets and nearby schools with noise and air pollution from the coaches
  • Swamp our streets and buses with visitors from across Europe trying to reach Queensway, Paddington and Bayswater tube stations
  • Increase local anti-social behaviour
